Best style tip?

When the cupboard is bare or you simply cannot decide, choose Breton stripes. They are always fail-safe and stylish.

The one thing that always puts a smile on your face…

Dogs, especially my two rescue pups. Sadie is a Kelpie Jack Russell cross so she’s very active, smart and sassy but still loves to snuggle. Kit is a Papillon and he’s a happy, gentle soul (and a ladies’ man). Kit had a rough life before he came to us, so Sadie has taught him how to be a dog and play together. It’s very cute.

Favourite guilty-pleasure food?

New York-style cookies and a cup of tea.

What is the best part of your job?

Receiving amazing emails from our nuut community sharing how it has changed their life and how it’s helping them reach their health goals.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Compassion for the world around us and all its inhabitants.

How do you unwind?

I love going to my local beach early in the mornings and collecting the sea glass that has washed-up overnight. I focus on the task-at-hand and find it very meditative.

How do you take your nuut?

I blitz a sachet of nuut with 250ml almond milk and half a banana. Delicious and filling.

What is your motto?

When life gives you lemons make lemon butter. My grandmother taught me how to make lemon butter when I was young, and in 2018 I won first place with her recipe at the Perth Royal Show. I love making recipes the traditional way and find slow cooking a great way to de-stress.

OLIVIA POUSHKINE, OPERATIONS

Favourite guilty-pleasure food?

Mushroom pizza. The best is from Canteen in Perth, with fior di latte, gorgonzola, swiss and Portobello mushrooms, garlic and parsley. I also love eating almond butter with a spoon straight out the jar. Almond Butter from The Honest Pantry is the best. Its nuttiness is out of this world.

How do you describe your sense of humour?

Dry, maybe even harsh. Someone falling over in the street can be the funniest part of my day.

What do you most value in your friends?

Honesty, trust, but above all laughter.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

That I was born in Hong Kong. My parents were living there at the time and fell in love with the expat lifestyle.

How do you take your nuut?

Blended with ice, splash of plant-based milk, large tablespoon of hemp seeds and a teaspoon of chia.

How do you take your nuut?

I love Daily Balance blitzed with 300ml almond milk, 3 whole almonds, espresso, pinch of sea salt and a ton of ice. Basically, it’s a caffeinated chocolate thick shake with crunch. It’s insane.

Favourite guilty-pleasure food?

For lunch, a glass of Chardonnay and a dozen Sydney rock oysters. My favourite dinner is rare roast beef with béarnaise sauce, frites and a green salad, followed by chocolate souffle with triple cream, and a giant gooey cheese board.

If you were chased by the paparazzi, what would you like to be wearing?

Vintage YSL dress, sharpened up with a Stella McCartney blazer, massive Loewe basket bag, Bottega Veneta leather mules and giant pair of Celine sunnies.  Oh, and a mass of vintage gold jewellery. So overall just very understated ;)

Which talent would you most like to have?

A gift for languages. I am passionate about French and have taken up lessons five times and failed dismally. My lack of aptitude is truly disappointing.

Who are your favourite writers?

So many. Enid Blyton during childhood, and Judy Bloom who walked me through my teens. Food critic and novelist Ruth Reichl writes so beautifully about food you can taste it. Nicholas Coleridge I adore for his gripping fashion dramas, and Ayn Rand who wrote The Fountainhead, which is my favourite book of all time

EMMA SCANLAN, PUBLIC RELATIONS

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Rushing-woman’s syndrome.  If I’ve learnt anything from isolating, it’s that I was being busy 24/7 because that’s what I thought I had to do. I’m just as productive now with the limitations we have all had to work around. I don’t have to be on the run all the time. I get to slow right down.

On what occasion do you lie?

When one of my children ask me a question I don’t know the answer to. I’ve become quite creative with my answers. I’m not sure how long it will last before they figure out that maybe mum doesn’t know everything!

How do you take your nuut?

A double shot of espresso, ¾ cup water, ¼ cup almond milk, banana and ice. It’s replaced my daily almond cappuccino.

Best style tip

It’s not what you wear, it’s how you wear it. Good skin and self-confidence are key for me.

If you were chased by the paparazzi, what would you like to be wearing?

Head-to-toe Isabel Marant.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Some like to say that I’m a steamroller and a hard task master! I like to get things done and get them done quickly and effectively, always at the highest standard.

What is your motto?

Live the life you've always dreamed of. Be fearless in the face of adversity. Never stop learning. Be true to who you are.
